Unlike other spots in fantasy football, using the waiver-wire to find a good NFL kicker is relatively easy. A few of the top place-kickers in the league are struggling, but owners do have other options. Here is a look at the best option for fantasy football owners this week.
Justin Tucker of the Baltimore Ravens is still available in most leagues, but Tucker is quickly becoming one of the top kicker options in the league. The rookie has a strong leg and is very accurate, and with the Ravens having a good offense, this youngster is a must-have for owners in need.
Another good option is rookie Greg Zuerlein of the St Louis Rams. Head coach Jeff Fisher has told reporters that this kid is special and he will give the kid a shot at a 63+ yard field goal to break the NFL record.
Having a kicker with a strong leg is good for owners that get bonus points based on field goals over 50 yards, and these two young men are the new breed and are good options for the rest of the 2012 season.
