NFL training camps are about to close as teams prepare for their final preseason contest this week and that has several players moving up or down the depth charts. For those dropping, a move to a new team could be just what they need and several trade rumors have hit social media the past few days with potential deals.
J'Marcus Webb is not a household name, but he was a starting tackle for the Chicago Bears for 44 games, but a switch from the left over to the right side of the offensive line has derailed his career. The Bears now having three other solid players to choose from, leading to trade rumors with the Oakland Raiders as a possible destination.
Oakland could use some help on the left side of their line, putting Webb back into a position he is comfortable with and with a trade likely costing the Raiders just a fifth or sixth round selection, making this deal is a good bargain for a team struggling to fin enough talent to win football games.
Plenty of players will move in the next week as NFL teams finalize their roster. A few trades will occur and a few big names will get released, but both these teams could help themselves out by making a deal before the regular season opener.
